CREATIVE AND TECHNICAL STUDY OF A BRIDE STYLIST

Extra pounds can be evenly distributed throughout the body, but too plump shapes are not suitable for legs. In these cases, there are models that can widen or tighten the waist, such as cone skirts and corsets with short bones at the waist, it all depends on where you need to trim.

Small breasted bride. Bringing the legs forward instead of the décolleté is a great idea, but I would also work on the breast shape. There are techniques in tailoring that allow us to increase breast volume, and I’m not talking about inserting a simple sponge cup into the corset and blocking it with two stitches.

I’m talking about the “counter bustier”, a push-up bodice designed for every bride during rehearsal and sewn into the dress, which can increase the shape and volume of the breast.

Sooner or later I will talk about this modeling technique that only tailoring enthusiasts like me can achieve, it is a real gem. Choosing a short dress can be ideal as the bust is large and in proportion to the rest of the body.

Big breasted bride. From cup D to F, the breast is really heavy and demands off-the-shoulder necklines to hide the must-wear bra straps.

A large bust requires a V-neck or a slightly rounded décolleté (we’ve already mentioned how to choose a wedding dress neckline), but the short model is disproportionate in the first model, too much bodice and too small skirt, a second knee or calf 50s are ideal.
